Reproductive Child Health Program (RCH-Urban)

To provide health facilities to the urban migrant labor which is not covered under any health facilities, RCH-Urban program was launched by the Department of Family Welfare and Health, HP in the month of May 2011. “Ankur” is also one of the implementing agencies and providing health facilities in two urban RCH points Gagret and Tahliwal of Una District. Under this program two trained ANM have been enrolled and placed at the disposable of Block Medical Officer. The main duty of the ANM is to provide all health facilities to the migrant urban labor at their door step by regularly visiting them. After initial success of one year, this program has been extended up to March 2013.
